Hi, all! It's Mari, a writer for Arcadian Lighting, a fabulous place to find beautiful lighting fixtures of all kinds.
I love my job because I get to visit great blogs like Sea of Girasoles to share interior design and decorating ideas.
Today's guest post is about one of my favorite topics, mixing styles to create eclectic spaces--in this case, perfectly eclectic spaces.
When it comes to eclectic style, perfection is definitely in the eye of the beholder
because each eclectic room is the creative result of one's style and personality.
Here are eight of my top perfectly eclectic rooms.
Please enjoy!

With a restrained approach to eclectic, tall ceilings and wide wood floor boards provide
the backdrop for a mix of contemporary and Mid-Century furnishings.
A cluster of three paper lanterns adds a touch of the Far East.

This slightly rustic and mostly white living room is a perfect mix of styles with lots of character.
Sleek white slipcovered sofas look right at home atop a vintage rug.
The classical lines of a tall fireplace work well with a massive forged metal hanging light,
while vintage wall lights run the length of traditional built-in bookcases.
All in all, a lovely eclectic space.

A large open dining space works well with traditional architecture,
a mix of chair styles and lighting fixtures.
An ornate crystal chandelier is at once surprising
and perfectly suited to this eclectic design.

A mix of lighting styles and furnishings give this open living space
with traditional architectural elements a lively personality.
Barcelona chairs seem quite suitable as companion pieces to velvet sofas.
The warm wood flooring has been given an unexpected splash of color.

A delicate vintage metal bed sits in stark contrast to huge industrial hanging lights.
The cool white space gets a touch of color
with vintage granny square throw and patchwork pillow.

A rustic beamed room is turned into an open light-filled bath with contemporary fixtures.
A single chair brings a bit of traditional style into the space.

In pure lovely Scandinavian style, this eclectic seaside space is filled with rustic,
modern and ethnic furnishings.

An amazing pendant light hangs above a massive table fashioned from a reclaimed tree trunk.
This handsome piece, surrounded by delicate white chairs, is at once rustic and sculptural.
